用超流利的英文來(lái)征服學(xué)生

常聽(tīng)教師說(shuō),為什么學(xué)生總是在外教的課堂上紀(jì)律那么好?而我們的課堂有時(shí)卻不那么盡如人意。難道就是因?yàn)槲覀兌际侵蟹矫婵?,盡管教授的同樣的是加方教程,學(xué)生的差別對(duì)待還是如此明顯?對(duì)于這種情況我曾經(jīng)也有過(guò)疑慮,但是現(xiàn)在我想說(shuō),讓我們用我們流利的英文來(lái)征服學(xué)生。

You can hear teachers say, whythe students behaved so well in your classes but so badly in my classes? Doesit mean that we’ve got Chinese faces so the students won’t focus or studentsare so prejudiced that they can only concentrate in the foreign teachers’classes? I had doubts with this casebefore,but now I want to say, let us conquer students with our fluent English.

作為一名雙語(yǔ)教師,對(duì)于口語(yǔ)的的要求可想而知。對(duì)于班級(jí)英文水平差的學(xué)生來(lái)說(shuō),如何讓他們面對(duì)一位中方面孔的英語(yǔ)教師,卻愿意或者敢于開(kāi)口說(shuō)英文。教師如何能夠克服自己的惰性,面去堅(jiān)持每堂課流利的說(shuō)英文,而不是隨著大家的相知最后的雙語(yǔ)課堂變成了中文課堂,這才是**的考驗(yàn)。這就在更大程度上對(duì)教師的專業(yè)素養(yǎng)提出更高的要求。

As a bilingual teacher, therequirements for oral English could be imagined. It is a real challenge to ourteachers that how to open the students’ mouths even when they are confrontedwith the bilingual teachers. Besides, how to get over your laziness and giveone perfect and fluent bilingual class every day is waiting for our teachers toovercome. We can only make it when we keep getting professional.

在教學(xué)教學(xué)過(guò)程中,我有以下一些建議:

Hereare the suggestions:

1、堅(jiān)持全英文授課。一份好的堅(jiān)持勝過(guò)無(wú)數(shù)次的重新開(kāi)始。

Teach in English. A thousand restarts can notcompare to persistence.

2、英語(yǔ)口語(yǔ)中,請(qǐng)保持連貫的表達(dá)。如果做不到,可以先從放慢語(yǔ)速開(kāi)始。

Keep a coherent expression on your oralEnglish. You can slow down your speed if it seems really awkward to you.

3、利用好自己的肢體語(yǔ)言。用盡你所有的辦法去解決生詞。記住,說(shuō)中文是你的最后一條選擇。

Make good use of your body language andexhausting all ways to solve the understanding of your words. Always noted that Chinese is your lastchoice.

4、不斷提高自己的口語(yǔ)水平。

Improve your spoken English.

學(xué)生或許從外教課堂里走出來(lái)后,在上某些雙語(yǔ)教師課時(shí),或多或少心理有點(diǎn)落差。我們只有用流利的英語(yǔ)來(lái)說(shuō)明,讓學(xué)生深刻的知道,無(wú)論是中方面孔還是西方面孔,在楓華,外教處處都是,哪里都是外教課堂。

It is understandable that thestudents will get a little bit of unevenness in mind when they step out of theforeign teachers’ classes and go to our bilingual teachers’ classes. We canonly solve their psychological problems by our fluent and idiomatic English.They will know no matter they are communicating with the Chinese faces orforeign faces, in Sino-Canada, English classes are everywhere.
