中加楓華國(guó)際初中旨在計(jì)劃出國(guó)留學(xué)、準(zhǔn)備到海外就讀大學(xué)的學(xué)生,從初中起便有機(jī)會(huì)不出國(guó)門(mén),在家門(mén)口接受九年義務(wù)教育的同時(shí),同步接受正統(tǒng)的加拿大最前沿初中核心課程。在加方外教授課的環(huán)境下迅速提高英語(yǔ)能力,為高中階段直升楓華高中就讀加拿大高中課程打下扎實(shí)的語(yǔ)言基礎(chǔ)和文化儲(chǔ)備。
初中雙語(yǔ)班的學(xué)生通過(guò)三年的雙語(yǔ)學(xué)習(xí)將在英語(yǔ)語(yǔ)言知識(shí)和能力,學(xué)科知識(shí)和技能及學(xué)習(xí)習(xí)慣和能力等方面得到長(zhǎng)足進(jìn)步,達(dá)到或基本達(dá)到就讀BC高中項(xiàng)目的要求。同時(shí)兼顧初中學(xué)生參加中考的需求。
以下是中加楓華國(guó)際初中加方課程分層目標(biāo)
English
Level A - strong literacy skills and many strategies for dealing with complex materials.
Level B - ability to read well, though they may have problems with more complex tasks.
Level C - limited skills and can deal well only with material that is simple and clearly laid-out. They often do not recognise their limitations.
Level D - difficulty reading and have few basic skills or strategies for decoding and working with text. Generally, they are aware that they have a literacy problem.
Science
Level A - strong scientific skills and strategies for dealing with scientific materials and information.
Level B - ability to comprehend scientific material one grade level below enrolled grade.
Level C - can deal with scientific material that is simple and clearly laid-out below 2 grade levels enrolled.
Level D - have difficulty with basic skills or strategies for understanding terms and processes in science 3 or more grade level below enrollment grade.
Math
Level A - strong math skills and many different strategies for dealing with mathmatics.
Level B - an ability to solve math problems with complex tasks.
Level C - limited math skills can deal with material that is simple and clearly laid-out no complex calculations. .
Level D - has basic skills or strategies for mathmatics.
Socials
Level A - strong map skills and has many strategies for dealing with complex social and economic materials.
Level B - ability to use maps well, they may have problems with more complex social and economic tasks.
Level C - limited skills with maps and with material that is simple and clearly laid-out dealing with socials and economic material.
Level D - difficulty with basic map skills has few basic skills or strategies for understanding social and economic material.
