My life in the first semester was as busy as I had expected. I had a class that started at 8:00am Monday through Thursday, and it was so difficult for me to get to class on time. I had lots of assignments that had to be done every week. They weren't worth many marks, but they were very helpful for my own understanding of the content.

**學期的學習生活正和預期的一樣忙碌。周一到周四早上8點我有一堂課，準時到教室對我來說很困難。每周都有很多必須要做的作業(yè)。這些作業(yè)并不占多少分數(shù)，但在建立我對課堂內(nèi)容的理解上很有幫助。

At first it was hard for me to manage my time well. When I recall what I was doing last semester in Grade 12 every day, I realize that I wasted most of my time in the afternoon, and thus I had to stay up till midnight or even later in order to have my work done. I decided not to repeat this mistake this semester.

最初時間管理對我來說有困難。當回想起在12年級最后一個學期的日常學習生活，我意識到我浪費了大量下午時光，導致要熬夜到半夜甚至更晚才能完成作業(yè)。現(xiàn)在我決定不再重復那個學期的錯誤做法。

As for my spare time, I'm usually with my friends. I'm usually on my computer when I am alone, and I go shopping or workout with my friends. I visit my professors during their office hours for extra help, and three of my professors can even call my name when they see me!

至于我的空閑時間，通常我和朋友在一起。一個人的時候通常是在電腦前，有時候和朋友一起逛街或健身。在老師的**時間內(nèi)我會去找我的教授尋求額外幫助。現(xiàn)在有三個教授見到我時甚至能叫出我的名字。

I've heard many of my peers saying that their university life is too busy and too difficult. I have the same feeling to some extent, but not so extreme. The reason for it is that I did 8 courses in Grade 12, including English, Pre-Calculus, IT, PE, Calculus, Physics, Chemistry, and Geography. These courses helped me with many of my first year courses, and the tight schedule got me familiar with busy life.

我已經(jīng)聽過很多同學說他們的大學學習生活太忙碌太艱難了，某種程度上我有同感，但不完全認同。原因是在12年級時我選修了8門課程，*括英語，微積分預科，IT，體育，微積分，物理，化學和地理。這些課程對我大學一年級的許多課程都有幫助，并且緊張的課程安排也讓我熟悉了忙碌的學習生活。

Many of the Grade 12 courses will help students a lot in first-year university courses, even if the content is very different. For example, I did IT 12 with Mr. Lindholm in Grade 12, and we learned Python programming in that course. That actually helped me a lot in my first year computer programming course.

許多12年級課程雖然內(nèi)容不同。但對許多大學一年級課程學習都有幫助。例如， Lindholm老師的IT12課程講到的Python編程實際上有助于我的大學一年級計算機編程課。在楓華中學學習的關鍵意義是為了大學課程學習做好準備，意識到這一點對楓華學生來說會很重要。

In addition, as most of the students have to do four or five courses every semester in university in order to get a degree on time, it is a good idea for them to get familiar with busy life prior to getting into university. As a result, to better survive in university, I do recommend Sino kids to take a lot of courses in Grade 12, not just the one required for graduation. It is important for Sino students to realize that the point of coming to Sino is to get prepared for university.

另外，為了按時獲得大學學位，許多學生每個學期都需選修四到五門課程。能夠在進入大學前先了解適應忙碌的學習生活是個不錯的建議，這樣可以更好的適應大學生活。我建議楓華學生在12年級時多選修幾門課程，不只是畢業(yè)要求課程。楓華學生選擇在楓華學習的關鍵意義是為了大學學習做好準備，意識到這一點至關重要。
